This post will instruct you how to draw a seascape. We will draw attention to the shapes of each part and variety of outlines drawn ensuring that the drawing looks great.
Time Needed: 30 minutes

First Draw A Boat
First, draw a boat by forming the shape as shown. Don’t forget to draw the horizontal line to add some detail to the boat.

Add The Sails Of The Boat
Add the sails of the boat by making two triangles.

Add The Mast
Add the visible part of the boat’s mast in between the sails by drawing two vertical lines.

Start Drawing The Lighthouse
First, form the lighthouse tower with two long lines connected by a curved line at the bottom. Create the foundation of the lighthouse by making the shape at the base of the lighthouse tower as shown. Then, draw a rectangular shape on top of the lighthouse tower.

Attach The Lantern Room
Attach the lantern room on top of the lighthouse by first drawing an inverted U-shaped line for the lantern. Next, make two short vertical lines on each side of the lantern. Then, draw the roof of the lighthouse by creating a triangle.

Add The Lighthouse Pattern
Add the lighthouse pattern by drawing horizontal lines curving upward.

Draw The Land
First, draw the grassy top part of the land where the lighthouse sits by making a jagged line. Then, make a wavy line at the edge as shown.

Add The Background
Let’s add the background of the seascape drawing by first making a long horizontal line at the center and then creating short wavy horizontal lines for the small water waves. Next, draw the clouds with bumpy rounded shapes as shown.

Complete The Seascape Drawing
Let’s finish the seascape drawing by first coloring the sky and the water with different shades of blue. Next, color the clouds with a white crayon. Now, shade the lighthouse by alternating red and white crayons. Don’t forget to color the lantern on the lighthouse with a yellow crayon. Then, color the grass with a green crayon and the rest of the land with a brown crayon. Finally, let’s color the boat with an orange crayon, the mast with a brown crayon and the sails with pink and purple crayons.
