Espresso Machine Drawing: All Steps

This step by step lesson will teach you how to draw an espresso machine. We will draw attention to the shapes of each part and types of lines drawn so that the artwork looks correct.

Time Needed: 20 minutes

  1. Outline The Lid

    Outline the lid by making an almond shape. Add some sharp points to the bottom part of the lid as shown.

  2. Attach The Knob

    Attach the knob on the lid by first drawing a wide oval. Then, drawing a U-shaped line below the oval.

  3. Outline The Upper Pot

    Outline the upper pot by making a U-shaped line with sharp corners.

  4. Draw The Sealing Ring

    Draw the sealing ring connecting the top and bottom parts of the pot by making a U-shaped line.

  5. Start Drawing The Bottom Pot

    Start drawing the bottom pot by forming the bumpy line.

  6. Outline The Bottom Pot

    Outline the bottom pot by making a U-shaped line with sharp corners.

  7. Form The Shape Of The Pot

    Form the shape of the top and bottom pots by drawing vertical lines.

  8. Attach Handle And Spout

    Let’s first draw the handle by attaching the curved shape on the left. Next, draw the spout by forming the shape as shown on the right.

  9. Complete The Espresso Machine Drawing

    Let’s finish the espresso machine drawing by adding color to it! First, use a black crayon to color the lid, knob, handle and the sealing ring of the espresso machine. Next, color the rest of the espresso machine mainly with a gray crayon. Shade the sides of the pot and the inside of the spout with a darker gray crayon to add some depth to the drawing.
