Flying Dinosaur Drawing (easy)

We will arrive at a finished drawing of a flying dinosaur by drawing one part at a time. The drawing will take 9 steps to complete as we continue to create each area moving closer to the completed drawing. The final drawing will be perfected with color creating a artwork you can be proud of!

Time Needed: 30 minutes

1. Form The Head

   

   Draw a curved line to form the outline of the flying dinosaur’s head.

2. Attach The Beak

   

   Attach the long pointed shape of its beak. Make sure to erase parts of the head that overlap with the beak.

3. Draw The Crest

   

   Draw a V-shaped line to create the crest on top of the dinosaur’s head.

4. Add The Eye

   

   Add a small circle to draw the eye.

5. Outline The Body

   

   Outline the elongated shape of the dinosaur’s body.

6. Attach The Legs

   

   Attach the shape of its legs connected to the bottom of its body. Then, form its claws as shown.

7. Create The Arms

   

   Form the shape of its thin arms similar to the illustration.

8. Outline The Wings

   

   Outline the shape of the flying dinosaur’s wings by drawing curved lines connected to its arms.

9. Complete The Drawing Of A Flying Dinosaur

   

   Let’s add some color to our drawing of a flying dinosaur! First, use a red crayon to color the crest on top of its head. Next, fill in its eye with a black crayon. Now, color the beak with a yellow crayon. Then, shade its wings with a brown crayon. Finally, color the rest of the flying dinosaur’s body and limbs with a purple crayon.
