In today’s guided lesson, we will discover how to draw a french toast drawing on paper. The size of each of the drawn parts will be pointed out in each step of the lesson. Note that the blue lines have been drawn to indicate the newest components being drawn in each in each of the steps.

Outline The Shape Of Toast
Outline the shape of the French toast by creating a rectangular shape with rounded corners. Emphasize the bumps of the corners as shown.

Attach The Crust
Attach the crust by drawing a line following the shape of the French toast.

Build A Stack Of Toast
Let’s start building a stack of French toast slices! Outline another French toast below the first one we drew.

Draw The Crust
Draw the crust on the second slice of bread by forming a line following the shape of the slice’s top outline.

Add One More Slice
Let’s add another slice of French toast to the stack! First, draw the outline of the bread. Then attach the crust like you did with the other slices.

Apply Butter
Craw butter on top of the stack of French toast by making a rounded shape. Draw lines inside the shape similar to the illustration to add some details to the butter.

Add Syrup
Add syrup running over the stack of French toast by drawing the squiggly lines as shown. Have fun here, it does not have to be perfect!

Draw The Plate
Then, draw a plate by forming two ovals below the stack of French toast.

Complete The French Toast Drawing
Let’s complete the French toast drawing by first coloring the toast with a light brown crayon. Now, color the crust with an orange crayon. Next, fill in the syrup with a mixture of dark orange and brown crayons. Then, color the plate with a blue crayon.
