Materials

  • Pencil
  • Drawing Paper
  • Crayons or Colored Pencils
  • Black Marker (optional)

Garlic Drawing: All Steps

We will arrive at a finished drawing of garlic by completing one section at a time. The drawing will take 6 steps to complete as we continue to create each part moving closer to the completed drawing. The finished work of art will be shaded with color making it a artwork you will want to share with friends!

Time Needed: 20 minutes

  1. Draw Dried Up Roots

    Draw a small circle on the left side of the paper. We are going to draw the bottom part of the garlic where the roots dry up around the bottom of the bulb.

  2. Add The Bulb

    Then draw a bumpy garlic bulb around the roots you drew in step one.

  3. Draw The Second Garlic Bulb

    Now, we are going to draw the side profile of another garlic bulb. Notice how the garlic forms a stem near the top of the bulb.

  4. Add A Clove

    After that, we are going to add the first clove of garlic. Draw a semi circle, and then add some curved lines to create details and volume.

  5. Draw Another Garlic Clove

    Make a similar clove beside the first one.

  6. Complete Your Drawing

    It is time to get your coloring materials and color your garlic drawing! Once dried most garlic tends to be white in color.
