Materials
- Pencil
- Drawing Paper
- Crayons or Colored Pencils
- Black Marker (optional)

By the end of this lesson we will arrive at a finished drawing of a guinea pig by completing one area at a time. This project will take 6 steps in total as we continue to draw each section moving closer to the completed work of art. The final artwork will be topped off with color resulting in a artwork you will be proud to show off!

Form The Face
First, draw two shaded ovals to draw the eyes. Draw a bumpy rounded shape for the nose. Next, draw two curved lines attached to the bottom of the nose. Then, form two rectangles for the teeth.

Outline The Head
Outline the furry shape of the guinea pig’s head.

Draw The Body
Draw the furry shape of the guinea pig’s body.

Add The Ears
Outline the rounded shape of the guinea pig’s ears.

Attach The Limbs
First, draw the guinea pig’s arms as shown. Now, create the rounded shape of its hands. Next, draw two ovals connected to the bottom of its body to form its feet.

Complete The Guinea Pig Drawing
Let’s add some color to our drawing of a guinea pig. First, use a pink crayon to color the nose, hands, feet, and inner ears. Next, use a black crayon to shade the outer ears. Use a white crayon to color the teeth and the shimmer on the eyes. Then, shade the rest of the guinea pig’s body using white and orange crayons.
