Outline The Head
Draw a curved line to form the horse’s head.

Add The Eye
Draw a shaded oval to add the horse’s eye.

Draw The Snout
First, create a line curving downwards. Next, add a dot for the nostril. Then, form the mouth by drawing a line curving upwards.

Attach The Ear
Attach the pointed shape of the horse’s ear.

Outline The Body
Outline the curvy shape of the horse’s body.

Draw The Mane
Draw the horse’s long flowy mane on top of its head.

Add The Legs
Add the horse’s legs connected to the bottom of its body. Draw a curved line near the bottom of each leg to form the hooves.

Attach The Tail
Attach the horse’s wavy tail at the end of its body.

Complete The Horse Drawing For Kids
Let’s now color our horse drawing! First, color the mane and tail with a gray crayon. Use a black crayon to shade the hooves. Color the snout and inner ear with a brown crayon. Then, fill in the rest of the horse’s body with white and orange crayons.
