Materials

In this article, we will start off with a new piece of paper and learn how to draw a bakery in a series of 9 steps. It is best to observe the shape and size of each of the drawn parts of the bakery.
Time Needed: 30 minutes

First Form The Bakery Signage
First, draw a horizontal rectangle to outline the signage. Next, write the text “BAKERY”.

Draw A Rolling Pin
Start by drawing a long, thin rectangle. Then, attach the rolling pin’s handles on both ends.

Outline The Roof And Walls
Form the thin, rectangular outline of the bakery’s roof. Then, draw a rectangle to form the walls.

Add A Door
Add a rectangular door with a horizontal strip in the middle.

Draw The Window
Draw a rectangle to outline the bakery’s big window.

Add Racks
Add racks visible from the window by drawing two horizontal rectangles.

Display Some Bread
Let’s add some bread by first forming two oval shapes on the top rack. Then, draw small V-shaped lines on the surface of the bread.

Add Some Baked Pies On Display
On the bottom rack, let’s draw some baked pies by first making an outline of the pans. Now, form the baked pie by drawing a curved shape on top of the pan.

Complete The Bakery Drawing
Let’s add some color to our drawing of a bakery! First, use a light yellow crayon to color the background of the signage. Next, fill the rolling pin with an orange crayon. Now, shade the roof and the framing of the door and window with a brown crayon and the glass with a light blue crayon. Then, paint the walls of the bakery with a cream colored crayon.
