How To Draw A Cargo Ship: All Steps

In this lesson, we are going to discover how to draw a cargo ship with your drawing materials. Pay attention to the various sizes and shapes within the artwork of the cargo ship. The pencil lines in each step is drawn blue so you can identify the current components that you will be working on.

  1. Form The Hull

    Let’s first outline the shape of the hull. Now, create a horizontal line across the hull. Then, draw a line following the shape of the top part of the hull.

  2. Draw The Taffrail

    Draw the taffrail by first making a long thin horizontal shape. Next, draw pairs of vertical lines attached to the top of the rail.

  3. Create The Cabin

    Create the cabin by drawing rectangles as shown.
