How to Draw a Cartoon Cow

This tutorial will instruct you how to draw a cartoon cow. We will pay attention to the shapes of each area and variety of outlines drawn ensuring that the artwork looks convincing.

1. Outline The Head

   

   Outline the shape of the cow’s head by creating a rounded shape.

2. Draw The Face, Ears And Horns

   

   Let’s start drawing the face by making two shaded circles. To form the snout, draw a bumpy round shape with two dots for the nostrils. Create a line curving upwards to draw the mouth. Now, let’s outline the shape of its cute little horns. Then, draw pointed shapes on each side of its head to form its ears.

3. Form The Body

   

   First, draw an oval to outline the cow’s body. Next, form the cow udder below the body by drawing a curved shape with three small bumps. Now, add the cow’s tail by making two curved lines with a pointed shape at the tip.

4. Add The Legs

   

   Draw the shape of the cow’s legs attached to the bottom of its body similar to the illustration. Create horizontal lines near the bottom of each leg to form the hooves.

5. Draw The Pattern

   

   Let’s draw the cow’s spot pattern by creating blob shapes around its face and body.

6. Complete The Cartoon Cow Drawing

   

   First, use a pink crayon to color the cow’s snout, mouth, udder and inner ears. Next, use a brown crayon to shade the tip of its tail and the spot patterns around its face and body. Now, shade the horns using a yellow crayon. Then, color the hooves with a black crayon. Finally, shade the rest of the cow’s body using white and gray crayons.
