In this lesson, we will start off with a blank piece of paper and discover how to draw a chimpanzee in 6 instructive steps. It is best to consider the shape and size of each of the drawn parts of the chimpanzee.
Time Needed: 20 minutes

Draw The Nose And Mouth
First, draw an oval. Next, add a curved shape to form the nose. Then, create a line curving upwards to draw the mouth.

Add The Eyes
Now, draw two shaded circles for the eyes. Add a curvy line to form the chimpanzee’s forehead.

Outline The Head
Outline the furry shape of the chimpanzee’s head. Then, draw a curved line on both sides of its head to form its ears.

Attach The Arms
Outline the curved shape of the chimpanzee’s arms. Then, draw the hands similar to the illustration.

Add The Legs
First, form the furry shape of the chimpanzee’s legs as shown. Next, form the shape of its feet then add curved lines to draw its toes.

Complete The Chimpanzee Drawing
Let’s complete the chimpanzee drawing by first using a pink crayon for the inner ears. Then, use a peach crayon to shade its face, outer ears, hands, and feet. Use a light gray crayon to color the belly. Finally, color the rest of the chimpanzee’s body with a very dark shade of brown.
