By the end of this lesson we will arrive at a finished drawing of a chocolate bar by working on one part at a time. This project will take 9 steps to complete as we continue to create each part which will get us closer to the completed work of art. The finished drawing will be completed with color making it a drawing you will be proud to show off!

Outline The Wrapper
First, outline the shape of the wrapper by making a boxy U-shaped line.

Add Thickness
Draw the visible side of the wrapper to add some thickness and dimensions to our chocolate bar drawing.

Draw The Bottom Of The Wrapper
Draw the bottom of the wrapper by creating a zigzag line.

Create The Wrapper’s Opening
Draw the two squiggly lines as shown to create the opening of the wrapper.

Outline The Chocolate Bar
Outline the chocolate bar by drawing a partial rectangle with a piece missing. Add some bumps on one corner to create the “bitten” effect.

Draw The Top Of The Wrapper
Draw the top of the wrapper peeking through behind the folded part of the opening by making a zigzag line as shown.

Form The Shape Of The Chocolate Bar
Start forming the shape of the chocolate bar by making three straight lines as shown.

Continue To Form The Shape
Continue forming the shape of the chocolate bar by making a bumpy line across the chocolate bar as shown.

Complete The Chocolate Bar Drawing
Let’s complete the chocolate bar drawing by coloring the wrapper with a red crayon. Let’s add some shadows by using a purple crayon to shade the ends and sides of the wrapper. Next, color the inner wrapper of the chocolate bar with a gray crayon. Add hints of purple to make it look more vibrant. Lastly, color the chocolate bar with a brown crayon. Use a darker brown crayon to add a bit of shadow to the edges.
