This tutorial will instruct you how to draw a coffin. We will draw attention to the shapes of each section and types of contours drawn so that the artwork looks great.
Time Needed: 20 minutes
-
Start With The Top Shape
We begin by drawing the top part. The coffin is shaped like an elongated hexagon so we are going to draw the top lines first.
-
Add The Lower Part
Then we add longer lines to complete the part of the coffin that opens up. Make it slanted like in the sample.
-
Thicken The Coffin Top
We will follow the shape of the right side of the top part of the coffin. Just copy the lines slightly below.
-
Add The Lower Part And Complete The Box
We are almost done with the box. Just copy the right part of the lines again but with more distance. Then add vertical lines to make it appear realistic.
-
Draw A Cross At The Top
We complete our line art by drawing a cross on the top so it will be like a Halloween Coffin.
-
Complete The Drawing
Let us color the coffin with shades of brown.
