How To Draw A Cow Face: All Steps

In today’s lesson, we will learn how to draw a cow face on paper. The design and proportion of each part will be considered in each step of the how-to article here. Observe that the blue lines are used to show the newest lines being drawn in each step.

Time Needed: 20 minutes

  1. Create The Face

    Draw two shaded ovals to form the cow’s eyes. Next, create a big rounded shape with two pointed ovals to form its snout and nostrils. Then, draw a line curving upwards to create its mouth.

  2. Form The Head

    First, outline the shape of the cow’s head. Then, draw two wavy lines connecting the top of its head to its snout.

  3. Draw The Ears

    Outline the shape of the cow’s big pointy ears. Draw wavy horizontal lines to form the inner part of the ears.

  4. Add Hair

    Add hair on top of the cow’s head by creating a zigzag shape.

  5. Form The Horns

    Form the cow’s horns attached to the top of its head by drawing a pointy shape curving upwards.

  6. Complete The Cow Face Drawing

    Let’s add some color to our cow face drawing! First, use a dark yellow crayon to fill in the horns. You can add some brown to the tip of the horns. Next, shade the snout, mouth and inner ears with a pink crayon. Now, use a black crayon to color the nostrils, the sides of its face and the outer ears. Then, use a white crayon to shade the middle part of the cow’s face and the shiny reflection on its eyes.
