In today’s tutorial, we are going to discover how to draw a croissant on paper. The location and proportion of each part will be considered in each step of the lesson. Note that the blue outlines are used to indicate the current components being drawn in each in each of the steps.

Start Outlining The Croissant’s Shape
Start outlining the shape of the croissant by making a bumpy C-shaped line.

Continue Outlining The Croissant’s Shape
Continue outlining the shape of the croissant by creating another C-shaped line as shown.

Add Texture
Add the croissant’s roll texture by drawing a line at every dip of each bump.

Draw Sliced Croissant
Draw the sliced part of the croissant by creating the shape similar to the illustration.

Outline The Croissant’s Shape
Outline the croissant’s shape by making a bumpy curved line as shown.

Add Texture
Add the roll texture on the surface of the croissant by making curved lines.

Outline The Inside Of The Croissant
Outline the inside of the croissant by following the shape of the sliced part as shown.

Draw The Center Rolls
Draw the rolls in the center of the sliced croissant.

Complete The Croissant Drawing
Let’s finish the drawing by coloring the croissant with orange and yellow crayons. Put hints of brown to the edges to add some shadows to the croissant. For the sliced croissant, color the cross section with a light yellow crayon. Then, use a purple crayon to add shadows on the bottom of the croissant.
