Outline The Trunk
Outline the trunk of our dead tree by drawing two curvy vertical lines.

Draw A Face
Now, let’s draw a face at the center of the trunk! Start by drawing two slanted ovals for the eyes. Next, add a small triangular shape for the nose. Then, draw a wavy curving shape for the smiling mouth.

Add Roots
Add the dead tree’s roots by drawing wavy pointed shapes below the trunk.

Form The Boughs
Form the main branches of the tree called boughs by drawing curving lines as shown.

Extend The Branches
Extend the boughs into thinner and more curvy branches similar to the illustration.

Complete The Dead Tree Drawing
Now, let’s give life to our drawing of a dead tree by adding some color! First, use a yellow crayon to fill in the face. You can add some orange to the edges of the face for some shadows. Then, shade the rest of the tree with a dark brown crayon.
