In this article, we will start with a blank piece of paper and learn how to draw a dinosaur head in no time. We will proportion out the shape and size of each of the drawn parts of the dinosaur head.
Time Needed: 20 minutes

Outline The Head
Start by forming the pointed beak of the dinosaur. Next, create a curved line attached to the bottom to draw the jaw.

Form The Beak
Draw a curved line to form the beak.

Add The Face
Add an oval for the eye. Then, create a smaller oval for the nostril.

Attach The Horns
Form the triceratops’ horns by attaching curved triangular shapes atop its head. Don’t forget to add short curved lines at the base of the horns.

Create The Frill
Outline the wavy shape of the frill. Then, let’s add small V-shaped lines to form the bony structure on the frill of the dinosaur.

Complete The Drawing Of A Dinosaur Head
Let’s color our triceratops! First, use a black crayon to fill the eye and the nostril. Then, shade the beak with an orange crayon. Next, Use a yellow crayon for the horns and bony structure along the frill. Fill in the rest of the triceratops’ head with a green crayon.
