Time Needed: 30 minutes
First Draw A Barn
Start by drawing the shape of the barn’s roof. Next, outline the rectangular shape of the walls. Then, add a small rectangular window.
Add The Barn Door
Draw a rectangle to form the barn’s door. Then, add an X-shaped outline to form the support beams as shown.
Form The Silo
First, draw the dome shaped roof. Next, form the tall walls of the silo. Then, add the rectangular door.
Draw The Windmill Blades
Start by drawing a circle. Then, attach four triangular blades.
Attach The Windmill Tower
First, form two long diagonal poles attached to the bottom blade. Next, draw X-shaped beams in between the poles as shown.
Add A Pig
Let’s draw a pig roaming around the farm! First, draw the pig’s rounded body. Now, form four bumps below the pig’s body to draw its legs. Next, draw its oval shaped snout.
Draw The Pig’s Features
Start by drawing two dots to form its nostrils. Add the circular outline of its eye. Next, form the shape of its ears as shown. Now, draw the curled outline of its tail. Then, add the wavy outline of a mud puddle.
Form A Fence
First, draw the outline of the ground by forming a horizontal line with short V-shaped lines sticking out to emphasize its grassy texture. Next, start building the fence by attaching short vertical strips on the ground. Then, add a long horizontal line to finish drawing the fence.
Complete The Farm Drawing
Let’s color our drawing of a farm! First, color the walls and roof of the barn with red and white crayons. Fill the barn’s window with a dark blue crayon. Next, color the windmill with a gray crayon. Now, shade the silo’s roof with a dark green crayon, its walls with a yellow crayon, and its door with a brown crayon. Now, color the pig’s body with a pink crayon and fill the mud with a brown crayon. Then, use an orange crayon to color the fence. Finally, fill the grass with a green crayon and shade the sky with a light blue crayon.
