Create The Face
Draw two shaded ovals for the gerbil’s eyes. Next, form a small triangular shape for the nose. Add two curved lines attached to the bottom of the nose to form the mouth.

Outline The Body
Outline the furry shape of the gerbil’s body.

Add The Ears
Form the curved shape of the gerbil’s ears attached on top of its head.

Form The Limbs And Tail
First, draw two long bumpy shapes to form the gerbil’s limbs. Next, create a curving bumpy shape to draw the gerbil’s tail.

Add The Paws
Draw the oval shape of the gerbil’s paws connected at the end of its limbs and at the bottom of its body.

Complete The Gerbil Drawing
Let’s complete the gerbil drawing by first shading the outer ears, nose and paws with dark brown crayon. Next, color the inner ears with a light brown crayon. Now, fill in the shimmer in the gerbil’s eyes with a white crayon. Then, color the gerbil’s tail mainly with a brown crayon. Shade the tip of its tail with a dark brown crayon. Finally, color the gerbil’s head and body using brown and cream colored crayons.
