In this lesson, we will start with a new piece of paper and discover how to draw a honey badger in 9 illustrative steps. It is best to observe the proportions of each part of the honey badger.
Time Needed: 30 minutes

Draw The Face
First, draw two shaded ovals for the eyes. Next, create a small oval for the nose.

Add The Snout
Add the snout by drawing a rounded shape.

Form The Head
Form the outline of the head by drawing a U-shaped line for the face. Then, attach a bumpy shape on top to complete the head.

Attach The Ears
Attach the ears by drawing a small curved line on both sides of the head.

Form The Body
Form the body by creating an oval shape with a squiggly line.

Attach The Tail
Attach the tail by making an elongated U-shaped line with a squiggly line.

Draw The Limbs
To draw the hind limbs, form two L-shapes. Then, to draw the forelimbs, form two elongated curved shapes.

Add Claws
Honey badgers have long sharp claws. To draw the honey badger’s claws, form curved triangular shapes attached to ends of each foot.

Complete The Honey Badger Drawing
To complete our drawing of a honey badger, first color the claws and top part of the fur with a white crayon. Next, shade the nose with a dark gray crayon. Then, fill in the rest of the honey badger’s fur with a gray crayon.
