We will arrive at a finished drawing of a lagoon by creating one part at a time. It will take 9 steps to complete as we continue to create each section which will get us closer to the completed drawing. The finished artwork will be topped off with color creating a artwork you can be proud of!

Draw Plant Leaves On The Foreground
First, outline the stalk of the leaves by making a curved line. Next, form the shape of the leaves by drawing jagged lines attached to the stalk.
Form Tree Leaves
Now, let’s draw tree leaves on the foreground! Draw diagonal lines branching out from a common point to draw the stalk of each leaf. Next, create curved lines attached to the stalk to form the shape of the tree leaves.
Add Another Tree
First, draw diagonal lines branching out from a common point like in the previous step. Next, form the shape of the leaves by creating curved lines on both sides of the stalk. Now, let’s draw the trunk by creating two long diagonal lines. Then. make horizontal lines curving upward to add some detail to the trunk.
Draw landforms on the middle ground by creating pointy shapes as shown.
Add Rocks And Starfish
Now, add rocks by drawing small rounded shapes. Then, create a starfish by forming a star shape as shown.
Outline The Lagoon
Outline the rounded shape of the lagoon as shown.
Form The Waves
Form the waves in the water by creating wavy lines.
Draw The Background
Draw a horizontal line to form the line separating the sky and water. Next, create bumpy rounded shapes to draw the clouds.
Complete The Lagoon Drawing
Let’s finish the lagoon drawing by first coloring all the leaves and landforms with shades of green. Next, use a dark brown crayon to shade the tree trunk. Now, color the sand with an orange crayon. Don’t forget to color the rocks with a gray crayon and the starfish with a pink crayon. After that, fill in the body of water with a vibrant blue crayon. Then, shade the sky with a light blue crayon and the clouds with a white crayon.
