Time Needed: 30 minutes
-
Draw The Head
First, draw a U-shaped line to form the lifeguard’s head. Let’s then draw the lifeguard’s sunglasses by making two semi-circles with horizontal lines attached. For the ears, we’ll be drawing a curved line on both sides of the head. For the eyebrows, let’s draw two curved lines facing downwards, and for the nose and the mouth, form a curved line facing upwards.
-
Add Hair
Add hair by drawing a bumpy shape and a curved line to create the hairline.
-
Draw The Body
In creating the lifeguard’s body, we’ll start with drawing a rectangular shape for the torso. Next, create a U-shaped line under the head to form the neckline. To draw the shorts, form the shape attached to the bottom of the torso as shown in the illustration.
-
Add A Lifeguard Cross And Waistband Of The Shorts
To add the lifeguard cross, draw a cross shape on the shorts. Then, in forming the waistband of the shorts, draw slightly curving horizontal lines with evenly spaced vertical lines.
-
Attach The Limbs
To create the limbs, draw the arms and legs as shown.
-
Form The Hands And Feet
In forming the hands and feet of the lifeguard, draw them similar to the illustration. Don’t forget to draw the straps of the sandals!
-
Draw Binoculars
For the binoculars, draw two ring shapes to form the lens then attach cylindrical shapes to form the body of the binoculars.
-
Add A Ring Buoy
Draw a ring shape and add four evenly spaced lines on the surface of the buoy.
-
Complete The Lifeguard Drawing
Let’s add color to the lifeguard drawing by first using a yellow crayon for the hair and a light brown crayon for the skin. Next, use a purple crayon to fill in the lifeguard’s sandals, sunglasses, and binoculars. Now, color the lens with a light blue crayon. Add streaks of white to the sunglasses and the lens of the binoculars. Color the shirt with a blue crayon and the shorts with a red crayon. Now, use a white crayon to fill in the lifeguard cross. Finally, we’ll color the ring buoy with red and white crayons.
