In this lesson, we will start with a new piece of paper and discover how to draw a macaron in 6 illustrative steps. We will pay attention to the shape and size of each part of the macaron.
Time Needed: 20 minutes

Draw The First Macaron
We are going to start with the first macaron. Begin by drawing a stack of cylinder-like shapes.

Add The Second Macaron
Then, add another one of these treats below the first macaron so it looks like they are stacked.

Draw The Third Macaron
After that, add a third macaron leaning on the first two.

Add Texture To The Filling
We added some small details to the filling of each of these cookies.

Add More Texture
Since we drew these macarons as double decker cookies we can now add some texture to the bottom filling.

Complete Your Drawing
Use different shades of crayons to color your macarons. This style of cookie comes in a variety of colors so use your imagination!
