In this tutorial, we are going to learn how to draw a megalodon with your drawing materials. We will consider the different sizes and shapes within the artwork of the megalodon. The pencil lines in each step is drawn in blue so you can easily see the most recent lines that you will be creating.

Outline The Body
Outline the elongated shape of the megalodon’s body. Form the mouth by making a curved shape as shown.

Draw The Eye And Nostril
Now, let’s add the eye by drawing a circle. Next, draw a dot to create its nostril.

Add Teeth
Draw zigzag lines inside the megalodon’s mouth to form its sharp teeth.

Outline The Mouth
Draw a line forming the inside of its mouth.

Attach The Fins
First, draw triangular shapes on top and on the bottom of its body. Next, form the shape of its tail at the end of its body as shown.

Complete The Megalodon Drawing
Let’s complete our drawing of a megalodon by adding some color! Start by using a dark red crayon to color the inside of the mouth. Next, fill the teeth with a white crayon. Now, color the eye using a black crayon. Then, shade the underside of the prehistoric shark with a light gray crayon. Finally, color the rest of its body using a dark gray crayon.
