This lesson will teach you how to draw a moose. We will draw attention to the shapes of each area and variety of outlines created so that the artwork looks correct.

Draw The Head
Let’s start by outlining the shape of the head. Next, draw a shaded oval for the eye. Then, form two curved lines to create the nose and mouth.

Attach The Ear
Attach the moose’s ear to the head by making a pointed line with a triangular-like shape inside.

Form The Antlers
Form the antlers on top of the moose’s head by drawing the shape similar to the illustration.

Outline The Body
Outline the moose’s body by drawing a wavy oval shape.

Draw The Dewlap
A moose has a loose flap of skin below its jaw called dewlap. To draw the dewlap, form a wavy line from the bottom of the head attached to the body.

Attach The Tail
Attach the moose’s tail by drawing a small curved shape.

Draw The Legs
Draw four long legs attached to the bottom of the moose’s body as shown.

Attach The Hooves
To draw a moose’s hoof, form a rounded shape attached to the bottom of the leg similar to the illustration. Then, draw a line inside the hoof.

Complete The Moose Drawing
To complete the moose drawing, first color the antlers with a yellow crayon. Next, use a pink crayon to shade the inner part of the ears. Now, use a dark brown crayon to color the hooves. Finally, fill in the rest of the moose with a brown crayon.
