This tutorial will instruct you how to draw a mosasaurus. We will draw attention to the shapes of each section and types of outlines created making sure that the artwork looks right.

Form The Head
First, outline the shape of the mosasaurus’ head. Next, draw a circle to form the eye.

Draw The Body
Now, draw the elongated shape of the mosasaurus’ body similar to the illustration.

Attach The Tail Fluke
Attach the pointed shape of its tail fluke to the end of its body.

Add Teeth
Add the mosasaur’s sharp pointy teeth by drawing zigzag lines inside its mouth.

Form The Fins
Form the elongated shape of its fins attached to the body as shown.

Complete The Mosasaurus Drawing
Let’s add some color to our mosasaurus drawing! First, use a white crayon to color its sharp teeth. Next, fill in the eye with a red crayon. Then, shade the underside with a light blue crayon. Finally, color the rest of the marine reptile with a dark blue crayon.
