In today’s post, we will learn how to draw a motorboat on paper. The location and proportion of each part will be observed in each step of the tutorial. Take notice that the blue pencil lines are used to show the newest parts being drawn in each step.

Draw The Hull
Draw the hull by making an oval shape with a slightly pointed tip.

Form The Side Of The Hull
Form the side of the hull by first drawing the outline. Next, add two lines across the side of the hull.

Outline The Windshield
Outline the windshield by creating an oval with rounded corners as shown. Then, draw the side of the windshield by forming a V-shaped line.

Form The Shape Of The Windshield
Form the shape of the windshield by first drawing two inverted U-shaped lines. Next, make a diagonal line on the side of the windshield.

Add Lining On Top Of The Hull
Add the lining on top of the hull by drawing two curved lines.

Draw The Seat
Draw the seat inside the motorboat by creating long bumpy shapes.

Attach The Outboard Engine
Attach the outboard engine by drawing a rectangular box at the rear of the motorboat.

Draw Splashes
Draw splashes of water on the side of the motorboat by drawing curvy lines as shown.

Complete The Motorboat Drawing
Complete the motorboat drawing by first coloring the hull with a green crayon. Next, shade the center on top of the hull with a yellow crayon. Now, fill in the lining on the side of the hull with a dark purple crayon. After that, color the top part of the windshield with an orange crayon and the bottom part with a purple crayon. Then, shade the seat with an orange crayon. Don’t forget to color the outboard engine with a light purple crayon. Finally, fill in the water with different shades of blue.
