In this tutorial, we will start with a blank piece of paper and discover how to draw a mountain lion in no time. It is best to notice the shape and size of each of the drawn parts of the mountain lion.

Draw The Eyes
First, draw two shaded ovals to draw the mountain lion’s eyes.

Form The Nose And Mouth
First, draw a rounded triangle for the nose. Next, draw two larger rounded shapes attached to the nose and then create a line curving upward. Finally, draw two vertical lines connected to the side of its eyes.

Add The Ears
Let’s add the mountain lion’s ears on top of the face! To create the mountain lion’s ear, draw a pointed line with a triangle inside.

Outline The Head
Outline the shape of the mountain lion’s head connected to its ears.

Outline The Body
Outline the elongated shape of the mountain lion’s body.

Attach The Legs
Form the mountain lion’s legs as shown attached to the bottom of its body.

Draw The Underbelly
Draw the underbelly by creating two lines as shown.

Attach The Tail
Draw a thin wavy shape attached to its body.

Complete The Mountain Lion Drawing
Let’s add some color to our mountain lion drawing! First, use a light brown crayon to color the mouth and underbelly. Next, color the tip of the tail and inner part of the ears with a dark brown crayon. Then, shade the rest of the mountain lion’s body with a brown crayon.
