How To Draw A Paddle Board: All Steps

In this article, we will start with a blank piece of paper and discover how to draw a paddle board in no time. We will proportion out the proportions of each part of the paddle board.

Time Needed: 30 minutes

  1. Draw The Head

    First, draw the face by creating two dots for the eyes and curved lines for the nose and mouth.

  2. Add Hair

    Add a wavy line around the head to draw the hair. Draw a curvy pointed line to form the hairline.

  3. Form The Body

    To form the body, draw a curvy shape.

  4. Attach The Limbs

    Attach the limbs by drawing arms and legs as shown in the illustration.

  5. Draw The Paddle

    To draw the paddle, first, let’s create two long straight lines to form the shaft. For the grip, we’ll draw a small rectangle attached to the hand at the top of the shaft. For the blade, we’ll draw part of a rounded rectangle. At the bottom of the blade, draw a wavy horizontal line.

  6. Form The Paddle Board

    To create the paddle board, we’ll draw an oval with a flatter end on the tail of the board. Then thicken up the board with an additional line below that follows the long shape of the paddle board

  7. Attach The Ankle Leash

    To draw the ankle leash, start by drawing an L-shaped line to the ankle of the rider. We’ll then create the leash by drawing a curved line attached to the end of the board.

  8. Draw The Waves

    In forming the waves, let’s first draw a long horizontal wavy line in the background to create the horizon line. Draw several wavy lines to form the waves at sea.

  9. Complete The Paddle Board Drawing

    Let’s complete the paddle board drawing by first coloring the skin of the paddle boarder with a light brown crayon. We’ll then color her hair with a yellow crayon and her swim wear with an orange crayon. Then we move on to coloring the shaft of the paddle with a purple crayon and the grip and the blade with a green crayon. The paddle board will then be colored with a lighter shade of green. Lastly, the sea will be colored using a blue crayon and sky with a lighter shade of blue.
