How to Draw a Pizza Box

In this lesson, we will begin with a blank piece of paper and discover how to draw a pizza box in no time. It is best to consider the proportions of each part of the pizza box.

Time Needed: 30 minutes

1. Outline The Pizza Box Base

   

   First, outline the cardboard bottom of the pizza box by drawing a trapezoid shape as shown here.

2. Attach The Top Part

   

   Attach the top part of the pizza box to the base as shown.

3. Draw The Box Flaps

   

   To draw the flaps on the top part of the pizza box, create a line parallel to each side of the box. Then, connect the ends of each created line to the box’s corners. Also do this to form the bottom of the pizza box as shown.

4. Form The Pizza

   

   Now, let’s form the pizza. Draw a circle enclosed inside the pizza box. Erase the bottom part of the pizza that overlaps with the edge of the box.

5. Outline The Pizza Crust

   

   Outline the pizza crust by drawing a squiggly line following the shape of the pizza.

6. Draw The Pizza Slices

   

   Slice the pizza into eight equal sizes. First, draw a vertical line and a horizontal line passing through the center of the pizza. Next, draw diagonal lines in opposite directions across the pizza through the center again.

7. Add The Pizza Toppings

   

   Our pizza is not complete without toppings! Add pepperoni slices by drawing circles on the pizza. You can also add peppers by drawing small crescent shapes.

8. Draw The Box Interior

   

   To add depth to our pizza box drawing, draw the interior of the pizza box as shown.

9. Complete The Pizza Box Drawing

   

   Let’s finish the drawing by coloring the pizza box with a brown crayon. Color in the pizza crust with an orange crayon and the center dough of the pizza with a lighter brown or yellow crayon. Don’t forget to color the pizza toppings! Color in the pepperoni slices with a red crayon and the peppers with a green crayon.
