We will complete a drawing of a plesiosaurus by crafting one part at a time. It will take 6 steps to complete as we continue to make each part moving closer to the finished drawing. The final artwork will be completed with color resulting in a drawing you can be proud of!

Form The Head
First, outline the oval shape of the plesiosaurus’ head. Next, draw a line curving upwards for its mouth. Then, add a small circle for its eye.

Attach The Neck
Attach the marine reptile’s long neck by drawing two curved lines.

Outline The Body
Outline the dinosaur’s oval body connected to the end of its neck.

Form The Tail
Form the short pointed tail of the plesiosaurus.

Attach The Fins
Draw four curved lines attached to its body to form its fins.

Complete The Plesiosaurus Drawing
Let’s now color the plesiosaurus drawing! First, fill in its eye with a black crayon. Then, color the underside of this marine dinosaur with a light blue crayon. Finally, shade the rest of its body using a darker shade of blue.
