Materials
- Pencil
- Drawing Paper
- Crayons or Colored Pencils
- Black Marker (optional)

In this beginner’s lesson, we will discover how to draw a plum with your drawing materials. Pay attention to the various sizes and shapes of each part of the plum. The new lines in each step is made of blue so you can identify the most recent lines that you should be illustrating.
Time Needed: 20 minutes

Draw The First Half
Start by drawing an oval on the left side of your paper.

Add The Other Half
Then add another half under the first oval you drew. Now the plum is draw with its characteristic split.

Draw The Stem
Add the pointed stem at the top of your plum.

Add The First Leaf
Next, add the first leaf on the left side.

Complete The Line Art
Add another leaf on the other side.

Color Your Drawing
Grab your crayons, colored pencils or markers and color your plum drawing with shades of purple and green. I shaded in some highlights to make the plum look shiny and three dimensional.
