In today’s step by step lesson, we are going to learn how to draw a robot dinosaur on paper. The design and proportion of each part will be pointed out in each step of the lesson. Take notice that the blue pencil lines are used to indicate the newest elements being drawn in each step.
Time Needed: 30 minutes

Outline The Head
Outline the robot dinosaur’s oval-shaped head.

Form The Face
Draw a small circle for its eye. Then, create a wavy line to form the jaw.

Draw The Neck
Attach two curved lines to form the robot dinosaur’s long neck.

Outline The Body
Draw an oval shape attached to the neck to form the body.

Attach The Tail
Attach a tail to our dinosaur by drawing a curved, pointed shape.

Add The Legs
Draw four columnar legs attached to the robot dinosaur’s body.

Form The Links
Give the dinosaur links to lock in its neck and tail. Draw curved lines at the base of the neck and tail. Then, add a wavy line across the body to outline the robotic underbelly.

Add Bolts
Add small dots on the mouth, neck, legs, and tail of the robot dinosaur.

Complete The Robot Dinosaur Drawing
Let’s complete our illustration! First, use a black crayon to fill in the eye of the dinosaur. Next, use a dark gray crayon to color links and legs. Then, Use a light gray crayon to shade the underbelly and jaw. Finally, use a green crayon to color the rest of the robot dinosaur’s body.
