This tutorial will teach you how to draw a saber tooth tiger. We will draw attention to the shapes of each part and types of lines created making sure that the drawing looks great.

Draw The Face
First, draw two shaded circles with a short line on top to form the eyes. Next, draw a small oval for the nose. Now, draw a curved line on each side of the nose.

Add Some Scrunching Detail
Let’s draw visible folds on top of the saber tooth tiger’s nose by adding curved lines as shown.

Form The Teeth
Start by drawing the saber tooth’s long sharp fangs. Then, draw small triangles for the smaller teeth.

Outline The Head
Now, outline the furry shape of the saber tooth tiger’s head. Next, create the fur pattern on its head by drawing a line on its cheeks as shown

Attach The Ears
Draw V-shaped lines attached to the saber tooth tiger’s head to form its ears.

Draw The Body
Draw the elongated shape of the saber tooth tiger’s body. Attach a small curved line to draw its tail.

Form The Legs
Form the shape of the saber tooth tiger’s legs attached to the bottom of its body similar to the illustration. Erase parts of the body that overlap with the legs. Also, don’t forget to add a bump on the bottom of each leg to draw its paws!

Add The Fur Pattern
Add the spot pattern around the saber tooth tiger’s body as shown.

Complete The Saber Tooth Tiger Drawing
Let’s fish color our saber tooth tiger’s nose, inner ears and the tip of its tail with a dark brown crayon. Next, shade the nose, underbelly, near the tip of its tail, and fur near its paws and on the bottom part of its head using a cream colored crayon. Now, shade the fangs and teeth using a light yellow crayon. Finally, color the rest of the saber tooth tiger’s body using a light brown crayon.
