This step by step lesson will instruct you how to draw a salad. We will draw attention to the shapes of each part and types of lines created so that the artwork looks correct.

Draw The Salad Bowl
We will begin with the salad bowl. Draw a huge half curved circle below the paper. We will be drawing the various vegetables inside this bowl.

Add Tomatoes
Draw a few small tomatoes. Keep them small so we have plenty of room for a variety of vegetables.

Include Lettuce
Then add lettuce leaves to this salad.

Draw Egg Slices
Next I’ll be drawing some hard boiled egg slices. Many salads such as the popular Chef’s Salad have eggs added with the vegetables.

Add Cucumber Slices
We can finish up the line drawing by drawing some cucumber slices. Feel free to add more lettuce to fill in any empty parts of your salad bowl!
