How to Draw a Siberian Tiger

Materials
- Pencil
- Drawing Paper
- Crayons or Colored Pencils
- Black Marker (optional)

By the end of this lesson we will arrive at a finished drawing of a Siberian tiger by drawing one section at a time. It will take 6 steps to complete as we continue to draw each area which will get us closer to the finished artwork. The finished artwork will be perfected with color creating a work of art you will be proud of!
Time Needed: 20 minutes

Form The Head
First, outline the shape of the Siberian tiger’s head. Next, draw two oval shapes for the eyes. Now, create a heart shape for the nose. Add two circles attached to both sides of the nose. Then, form an oval behind the nose as shown.

Add The Ears
Add the Siberian tiger’s ears by drawing two pointed shapes on top of its head. Next, create a diagonal line on both ears.

Draw The Body And Tail
To draw the Siberian tiger’s body, form an elongated shape as shown. Next, draw a thin J-shape attached to its body to add the tail.

Attach The Legs
Add the Siberian tiger’s legs by forming vertical shapes attached to the bottom of its body as shown.

Create The Fur Pattern
Create the Siberian tiger’s striped fur pattern by forming thin pointed shapes on its body. Don’t forget to draw an oval around both of its eyes.

Complete The Siberian Tiger Drawing
Let’s give life to our drawing of a Siberian tiger by adding some color! First, use a dark brown crayon to fill in the striped pattern on its fur. Next, use a pink crayon to color its nose. Now, use a cream colored crayon to color the bottom part of its face, the inner parts of its ears, its underbelly, paws and the underside of its tail. Then, use an orange crayon to color the rest of the Siberian tiger’s body.
