This tutorial will instruct you how to draw a ski boat. We will draw attention to the shapes of each area and variety of outlines created so that the drawing looks great.
Time Needed: 30 minutes
Draw The Boat
Let’s first outline the ski boat’s hull using a wide elongated shape. Next, draw the lining on the boat’s hull by creating two diagonal lines. Then, add the windshield by making a small curved line on top of the boat as shown.
Create The Boat Driver’s Head
Create the boat driver’s head by first making a U-shaped line. Draw the ear using a small C-shaped line. Next, draw two dots for the eyes and a curved line for the mouth. Then, create a bumpy line to draw the hair.
Draw The Body
Let’s draw the boat driver’s body! First, create a small U-shaped line below the head to draw the neck. Next, form a round shape to draw the torso. Then, create a line on the torso as shown to draw the visible arm.
Form The Skier’s Head And Body
Let’s first draw the skier’s head by creating a U-shaped line. Add the ear by making a small C-shaped line. Next, draw two dots for the eyes and a curved line for the mouth. Now, make a wavy line to draw the hair. Then, draw two short vertical lines for the neck and then attach a dome shape to form the torso. Finally, draw the bikini bottom by forming the line below the torso as shown.
Attach The Limbs
Let’s draw the skier’s arms by creating two long thin horizontal shapes attached to the torso. Form the hands by making a rounded bump at the end of the arms. Next, let’s attach the legs by drawing long thin diagonal shapes. Don’t forget to draw the feet by forming a small bump at the end of each leg.
Draw The Water Skis
Draw the skis under the skier by creating two elongated shapes as shown.
Form The Tow Line
First, draw a small cylindrical shape held by the skier. Next, draw a small V-shaped line. Then, connect it to the back of the ski boat using a straight line.
Draw The Water
First, draw a horizontal line. Then, draw the splashes of water on the bottom of the ski boat and under the water skis using bumpy lines.
Complete The Ski Boat Drawing
Let’s add colors to our ski boat drawing! First, color the ski boat’s hull with red, purple and white crayons. Next, color the windshield with a light purple crayon. Now, shade the boat driver and the skier’s skin with a light brown crayon and their vests with an orange crayon. Use a yellow crayon to shade the boat driver’s hair and a light orange crayon for the skier’s hair. Then, color the skier’s bikini bottom as well as the handle of the tow line with a dark purple crayon. After that, shade the skis with a pink crayon. Finally, fill in the sky with a light blue crayon and the body of water with different shades of blue.
