How to Draw a Soda Can

Materials

We will arrive at a finished drawing of a soda can by creating one part at a time. The drawing will take 6 steps in total as we continue to create each part moving closer to the completed work of art. The final drawing will be finalized with color resulting in a work of art you can be proud of!

Draw The Body Of The Can
Start by drawing a rectangular-like shape but with curved upper and lower sides.

Add The Top Part Of The Can
Then, draw a smaller ellipse above, followed by another curved line below to create volume. Connect the can top to the sides you drew in step one.

Draw The Foot Ring
Add a little curved line to the bottom of the can.

Add The Hole
Then, add a small opening inside the top part of the can. This will allow the soda to flow out!

Draw The Straw
Complete your soda can drawing with a straw.

Now it is time to color your soda can drawing.
