How to Draw a Tasmanian Devil

This post will teach you how to draw a Tasmanian devil. We will draw attention to the shapes of each section and types of outlines drawn ensuring that the drawing looks right.

1. Form The Head

   

   First, outline the rounded shape of the Tasmanian devil’s head. Next, create two shaded circles for the eyes. Now, draw a rounded shape on the center of the head to draw the nose. Form the snout by drawing a rounded shape around the nose. Then, create the bottom of its mouth by making a line curving upwards connected to the snout. Don’t forget to draw the fangs by drawing two small V-shaped lines.

2. Attach The Ears

   

   Attach the Tasmanian devil’s ears by creating two curved shapes on top of its head. Then, draw a curved line on each ear to form the ear flaps.

3. Draw The Body

   

   Draw a bumpy rounded shape to create the Tasmanian devil’s body. Next, create a pointed shape to draw the fur pattern on its body.

4. Add The Legs

   

   Add the Tasmanian devil’s legs attached to the bottom part of its body. Don’t forget to form the claws by drawing triangular shapes as shown.

5. Attach The Tail

   

   Attach the Tasmanian devil’s fluffy tail to its body.

6. Complete The Tasmanian Devil Drawing

   

   Let’s add some color to our drawing of a Tasmanian devil! First, use a pink crayon to color the inner part of the ears. Next, shade the snout and mouth with a brown crayon. Now, fill in the fangs, claws and fur pattern on its body with a white crayon. Finally, color the rest of the Tasmanian devil’s body with a black crayon.
