This tutorial will teach you how to draw a velociraptor. We will pay attention to the shapes of each part and variety of outlines drawn making sure that the artwork looks great.
Time Needed: 20 minutes

Outline The Head
Outline the shape of the velociraptor’s head similar to the illustration shown.

Draw The Face
First, draw a circle to form its eyes. Next, add zigzag lines below its mouth to draw its teeth.

Outline The Body
Now, outline the elongated shape of its body. Then, form the pointed tail connected at the end of its body as shown.

Attach The Legs
Draw the shape of the velociraptor’s legs attached to the bottom of its body. Form its sharp claws by drawing triangular shapes as shown. Make sure to erase parts of its body that overlap with its legs.

Add The Arms
Add its short arms attached to its body as shown in the illustration. Don’t forget to form its sharp claws by drawing small triangular shapes.

Complete The Velociraptor Drawing
Now, let’s complete our drawing of a velociraptor by adding some color! First, use a white crayon to color its teeth. Next, use a yellow crayon to shade its claws. Then, fill in its eyes using a black crayon. Finally, use a green crayon to shade the rest of the velociraptor’s body.
