In this beginner’s lesson, we are going to learn how to draw a water gun with basic drawing tools. Pay attention to the different sizes and shapes within the artwork of the water gun. The lines in each step is made of blue so you can plainly see the most recent components that you will be working on.

Outline The Water Tank
Outline the water tank by drawing an elongated oval shape.
Draw The Water Tank Holder
Draw the water tank holder by making two rectangular shapes.
Outline The Shape Of The Gun
Outline the shape of the gun by forming the line as shown.
Attach The Bottom Muzzle
Attach the bottom muzzle to the barrel of the water gun by first drawing an L-shaped line, then drawing a smaller rectangular shape attached to it.
Attach The Trigger
Make the trigger by creating a rectangle. Then, attach the drawn rectangular shape to the body of the water gun by drawing two lines as shown.
Draw The Trigger Guard
Draw the trigger guard by making two C-shaped lines.
Add The Water Gun Details
Let’s add details to the water gun by forming the lines as shown.
Create Water Droplets
Create the water droplets by forming the blob shapes similar to the illustration.
Complete The Water Gun Drawing
Let’s add some color to the water gun to finish our drawing! First, shade the water tank with a yellow crayon. Next, color the water tank holder, trigger and muzzle of the water gun with an orange crayon. Now, color the bottom barrel and the detail on the grip with a red crayon. Then, shade the rest of the gun with a blue crayon. Finally, color the water droplets with a darker blue crayon.
