How to Draw a Weasel

In today’s tutorial, we are going to learn how to draw a weasel on paper. The design and proportion of each part will be observed in each step of the lesson. Take notice that the blue lines are used to indicate the newest components being created in each step.
Time Needed: 30 minutes

Outline The Head
Draw an oval shape with pointed ends to outline the weasel’s head.

Draw The Face
First, draw two ovals for the eyes. Next, create a rounded triangle for the nose. Then, to form the mouth, add two curved lines attached to the nose.

Attach The Ears
Attach two curved lines on both sides of the head to draw the weasel’s ears.

Outline The Weasel’s Fur
Outline the weasel’s fur on its face by drawing a curved line.

Draw The Body
Draw the elongated shape of the weasel’s body as shown.

Attach The Legs
Draw the legs by forming curved lines then attaching the feet at the bottom similar to the illustration.

Outline The Underbelly
Outline the weasel’s underbelly by drawing a vertical line from the head to the forelimb. Then, draw a horizontal line from the forelimb to the hind limb.

Attach The Tail
Attach the thin wavy shape of the tail to the weasel’s body. Add a zigzag line near the end of the tail.

Complete The Weasel Drawing
To complete the weasel drawing, use a brown crayon to color the nose and tip of the tail. Next, use a black crayon for the eyes and add some highlights using a white crayon. Now, to color the underbelly and bottom of the face, use a light yellow crayon. Then, for the inner ears, use a pink crayon. Finally, to color the rest of the weasel’s body, use an orange crayon.
