In today’s basic drawing lesson, we will learn how to draw a wolf head on paper. The design and proportion of each part will be pointed out in each step of the lesson. Observe that the blue outlines are used to show the new shapes being created in each in each of the steps.
Time Needed: 30 minutes

Form The Eyes
First, outline the pointed oval shape of the wolf’s eyes. Next, draw two circles in each eye.

Draw The Nose
Draw the wolf’s nose by making a rounded outline with two small ovals.

Form The Fur
From the bottom of the nose, draw the curved shape similar to the illustration to form the fur.

Add The Mouth
Add a line curving upwards to form the mouth.

Draw The Top Fur
Draw the outline of the wolf’s fur on the upper part of its head.

Attach The Bottom Fur
Attach the bottom fur by drawing a pointy line.

Draw The Whiskers
Draw the whiskers by creating three lines on each side of the face.

Add The Ears
Add the wolf’s ears by drawing two pointed shapes on top of its head.

Complete The Wolf Head Drawing
Let’s complete the wolf head drawing by first using a pink crayon to shade the inner part of the ears. Next, shade the pupils with an orange crayon. Now, use a black crayon to shade the nose holes and the remaining parts of the eyes. For the top part of the fur, use a blue crayon. And for the bottom part of the fur, use a white crayon.
