The goal is to complete a drawing of a woolly mammoth by creating one section at a time. The drawing will take 9 steps in total as we continue to draw each part which will get us closer to the completed artwork. The completed work of art will be detailed with color resulting in a artwork you can be proud of!

Outline The Head
Outline the mammoth’s head by drawing a curvy line.

Form The Trunk
Form the trunk of the woolly mammoth by drawing an elongated shape attached to the head.

Add The Eyes
Draw two circles to create the eyes.

Attach The Tusks
Attach the long curving shape of its tusks.

Draw The Ears
Form the floppy ears of the wooly mammoth by attaching curvy shapes on both sides of the head.

Form The Body
Draw an elongated shape attached to the head of the mammoth to form the body. Don’t forget to create short zigzag lines to emphasize the fur.

Add The Legs
Draw its short columnar legs attached to the bottom of its body.

Attach The Tail
Attach a narrow shape with a pointy end to the mammoth’s body to create the tail.

Complete The Woolly Mammoth Drawing
Let’s add some color to the woolly mammoth drawing! First, use a black crayon to fill its eyes. Next, color the tusks with a light yellow crayon. Finally, shade the rest of the woolly mammoth’s body with a brown crayon.
