By the end of this lesson we will arrive at a finished drawing of an aye aye by creating one part at a time. This project will take 6 steps in total as we continue to draw each section moving closer to the finished work of art. The final work of art will be detailed with color making it a artwork you can be proud of!

Form The Head
First, outline the fluffy shape of the aye aye’s head. Next, draw two circles for the eyes. Then, form an oval shape with two dots for the nose. Now, create a line curving upward for the mouth. Draw the fur pattern on its face by forming two curved lines as shown.

Attach The Ears
Let’s first outline the rounded shape of the aye aye’s ears. Next, draw a wavy line on each ear as shown.

Outline The Body
Outline the furry oval shape of the aye aye’s body.

Attach The Limbs
First, form the curved shape of the aye aye’s limbs. Then, draw the long pointed shape of the aye aye’s fingers and toes attached to the ends of its limbs as shown.

Add The Tail
Form the aye aye’s fluffy tail attached to its body.

Complete The Aye Aye Drawing
Let’s complete the aye aye drawing by adding some color! First, use a yellow crayon to shade its eyes. Next, use a pink crayon to color its nose. Then, shade the face with a cream colored crayon and the top of its head with a light brown crayon. After that, fill in the inner parts of its ears with a dark brown crayon. Finally, color the rest of the aye aye with a brown crayon.
