In today’s basic drawing lesson, we are going to learn how to draw an opossum on paper. The design and proportion of each part will be considered in each step of the how-to article here. Take notice that the blue pencil lines are used to show the new lines being drawn in each step.

  1. Form The Head

    Let’s start by making an outline of the opossum’s head shape. Next, draw two shaded circles for the eyes and a bumpy rounded shape for the nose. Now, draw the fur pattern on its forehead by creating a pointed shape as shown..

  2. Attach The Ears

    Add the ears by drawing two rounded shapes attached on top of its head.

  3. Outline The Body

    Outline the opossum’s furry body by drawing a bumpy oval.

  4. Attach The Legs
