How to Draw Cattle

Materials
- Pencil
- Drawing Paper
- Crayons or Colored Pencils
- Black Marker (optional)

In this beginner’s lesson, we are going to learn how to draw cattle with your drawing materials. Be sure to observe the different sizes and shapes of each part of the cattle. The lines in each step is drawn blue so you can easily see the most recent lines that you should be working on.
Time Needed: 30 minutes

Draw The Snout
Draw an oval with two shaded dots. Next, add a line curving upwards to form the mouth.

Add The Eyes
Draw two shaded ovals to form the cattle’s eyes.

Outline The Head
Draw two wavy lines to form the sides of the cattle’s head.

Draw The Hair
Add the jagged rounded shape of the cattle’s hair on top of its head.

Add The Horns
Now, draw the pointed shape of the cattle’s horns similar to the illustration.

Attach The Ears
Attach the pointed oval shape of the cattle’s ears on each side of its head.

Outline The Body
Outline the curvy shape of the cattle’s body.

Create The Legs
Create the shape of the cattle’s legs attached to the bottom of its body. Add a curved line on each leg to form the hooves.

Complete The Cattle Drawing
Let’s now color the cattle drawing! First, use a yellow crayon to shade the horns. Color the snout and mouth with a pink crayon. Next, shade the inner ears and hooves with a dark brown crayon. Now, fill in the cattle’s hair, head and body with an orange crayon. Then, add some white shading on its body as shown in the illustration.
