In this tutorial, we will start with a blank piece of paper and learn how to draw celery in a series of 6 steps. It is best to observe the proportions of each part of the celery.

Draw The Basic Stalk Shape
We are going to begin the celery drawing with a tilted oval. This will serve as our guide as we draw the stalks. Some of this shape will be modified and erased.

Draw The Stalks
Now it is time to draw the stalks which are compacted and close to each other. Follow the drawing shown here and make sure to add small stems towards the end of the celery.

Add The Leaves
Then, we are going to add small leaves above the stalks.

Draw Texture
Do not forget to add some textured lines to the stalks.

Add Veins To Leaves
Add the tiny little veins that spread throughout each of the celery leaves.

Color Your Drawing
Grab your crayons or colored pencils and color your celery with many shades of greens.
