How to Draw Chopsticks

Materials

In today’s basic drawing lesson, we will discover how to draw chopsticks on paper. The location and proportion of each part will be observed in each step of the how-to article here. Observe that the blue lines are used to show the current parts being drawn in each in each of the steps.
Time Needed: 20 minutes

Draw The First Chopstick
Begin by drawing a long and pointed shape as the first chopstick.

Add The Second Chopstick
Add the same shape behind the first one.

Draw The Noodles
Now let us proceed with the noodles. We draw some curves and waves, like in the drawing shown here.

Add The Plate
Then, draw a small and a bigger oval behind the noodles to make it look like the noodles are drawn on a plate.

Garnish Your Noodles/ Final Details
Finalize the lineart with some parsley and green onions for the garnish, then add finishing touches to the chopsticks.

Complete Your Drawing
Now it’s time to shade in your drawing. Drawing different garnishes will give you the opportunity to use a variety of color in your drawing.
