In today’s lesson, we will discover how to draw dragon fruit on paper. The shape and proportion of each part will be pointed out in each step of the lesson. Take notice that the blue pencil lines are used to indicate the current shapes being drawn in each in each of the steps.

Draw An Initial Guiding Shape
We begin our dragon fruit drawing with a circle in the middle of the paper. Draw lightly because this will get erased later on.

Start The Line Art
Then, start drawing the bottom part of the fruit. Take a look at my drawing to see how it is shaped.

Add The Middle Part
After that, we are going to work on the middle part of the dragon fruit. Continue drawing similar overlapping shapes like we did in step 1.

Add more of the dragon fruit’s curly outer skin.
